True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd have recently completed the COR-TEN® Steel Roofing and Wall cladding components on this magnificent home in Lorne, Victoria designed by Seeley Architects.  The home is situated on a hill surrounded by bushland with a magnificent view of Louttit Bay.  Lorne is a seaside township located on the scenic Great Ocean Road and is a popular tourist destination.

Corten Steel or COR-TEN steel or Weathering steel is a group of steel alloys that were developed to eliminate the need for painting.  It forms a stable rust-like appearance when exposed to the weather for a period of time.

The main section of Roof on this project is Double lock standing seam COR-TEN® panels, the wall cladding is interlocking COR-TEN® panel and this project had no eaves gutters as the architect was after a seamless look.  This project has a ground level guttering system.

True Blue Roofing specialise in intricate, architecturally designed projects that require excellent attention to detail for the best finish.  If you have an upcoming residential project that you are thinking of utilising COR-TEN® steel on the roof or wall cladding, then you need a registered Roof Plumber and should contact us today!  True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd service a large area of Victoria including Wye River, Lorne and the Surf Coast.
