Geelong Roof Restoration & Re-Roofing Project (Tile to Colorbond)

True Blue Roofing recently completed this re-roofing / roof restoration project in the Greater Geelong region, replacing an existing tiled roof with a durable Colorbond corrugated steel roof and new flashings for long-term weather protection.

For homeowners planning a roof upgrade, see our Re-Roofing and Metal Roofing Geelong services.

Scope of Works – Roof Replacement (Tile to Metal)

The roof replacement of the existing home roof involved:

  • Removal of the existing tiled roof

  • Re-fixing existing battens to rafters to ensure the structural integrity of the roof prior to the new roof being installed

  • Supply and install of metal roof battens

  • Supply and install of leaf guard

  • Installation of a brand new Colorbond corrugated steel roof

  • Installation of all new Colorbond ridges, valleys and flashings

The owners also wanted a new pergola roof which consisted of Colorbond corrugated steel as well as polycarbonate corrugated sheeting in Opal to allow natural light through to the outdoor area. We also installed Colorbond barge, Colorbond quad gutter and Colorbond downpipe.

To minimise disruption to the owners or tenants, we arrange guardrails, bin hire, removal of old tiles and complete clean-up of all rubbish from the job site.
