Lorne Roofing and Wall Cladding project features Standing Seam panels

June 27, 2018

True Blue Roofing have recently completed all of the metal Roofing and Wall Cladding components of this beautiful residence in Lorne, Victoria.  The home has undertaken a huge renovation including a large new extension.  The home has a real ‘home among the gum trees’ vibe and the decision to feature Colorbond Single Lock Standing Seam wall panelling fits in with the natural surrounds of this site beautifully.  The description of Colorbond Dune direct from the Colorbond website is as follows:

“Dune® is a warm, pale grey that invokes feelings of balance and neutrality. It is associated with the dusty earth of the Australian bushland, the soft pelt of native marsupials, and the textured landscapes of granite rock and stone.”

We were able to fabricate the custom single lock standing seam wall panels for this project inhouse.  The panels were made in random widths ranging from 100mm through to 400mm and laid in a random pattern.  We also used Colorbond Dune flashings and installed proctor wrap on the walls.  We love the way the random width panels look once complete, check out the gallery below.

The metal roofing of this Lorne residence was completed in Colorbond deck iron along with cappings, aprons, custom made rain water head and stainless steel box gutter.  We were able to install roof blanket as a part of the roofing installation.
