Colorbond Deep Ocean® Roof apt for Torquay home

True Blue Roofing have recently completed this new Colorbond Steel roof in Torquay, Victoria.  Torquay is located at the start of the Great Ocean Road, and is home to Bells Beach and birthplace of iconic brands Rip Curl and Quicksilver.

The clients designed this modern home and chose Colorbond steel Deep Ocean® as the featured roof colour.  Deep Ocean is described on the Colorbond website as follows:

Deep Ocean® is a conservative yet appealing colour that mimics the richness and depth of the ocean, and the vast blue haze of a distant mountain range. Matching fencing colour is Bluestone®

This roofing project in Torquay involved the supply and installation of new steel Colorbond roofing in corrugated iron / custom orb profile, fascia, quad gutter, apron/barge, installation of sisalation and supply of guardrails.  True Blue Roofing also installed the metal roof battens as a part of our scope of works.

The clients also included some metal wall cladding in the design of the home which they chose to use Colorbond Surf Mist.  It is described on the Colorbond website as follows:

Surfmist® embodies qualities of freshness, purity timelessness and independency. Snow, the mist from the sea and surf, pure white sand, and the billowing sails of yachts all remind us of this colour.

As you can see from the gallery of photos of this roofing and wall cladding project, the Colorbond Deep Ocean® and Surmist® colours compliment each other beautifully and are no doubt inspired by the location of the home on the Surf coast in Torquay.  The clients have added a touch of class with the featured metal wall cladding bringing a real architectural edge to the home.
