Colorbond Woodland Grey® featured in Torquay Roofing Project

True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd have just completed this new Colorbond metal roof for a brand new home in Torquay, Victoria.  Torquay is situated 21km South of Geelong and is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road.

The owners of this new home chose to use Colorbond corrugated iron in Woodland Grey®.  Woodland Grey® is by far the most popular colour chosen from the Colorbond range with our clients.  Woodland Grey® is a colour chosen from the “Classic” Range of Colorbond colours.

This is the description of Colorbond Woodland Grey on the Colorbond website:

“Woodland Grey® is inspired by the depth of cool green forest, the canopy of eucalyptus on a rugged mountain plateau, the twisted bark and deep olive green leaves of teatree along the coast, the mossy boulders and ferns found in mountain crevices. Matching fencing colour is Grey Ridge®”.

This roofing project involved the use of Colorbond Woodland Grey® in various profiles (including corrugated and Klip-Lok deck iron) to suit the various degree pitched roofs.  The corrugated profile was used on the 5 & 11 degree roofs and the Klip-Lok deck iron was used on the 2 degree roof pitch.  It also involved the installation of ridges / valleys / flashings / round downpipes all in Colorbond Woodland Grey® and custom made box gutter and rain water heads.

The client chose Colorbond S-Line / Half round gutters also in Woodland Grey® for this home.  It is a stylish option when compared with quad gutter and can set your home apart from the rest.  Due to the S-Line / Half Round gutters unique curved base, it can prevent the build up of water and dirt and allows the gutter to clean itself with every rain shower.
