Bespoke VMZinc Single Lock Standing Seam project

June 4, 2018

True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd have recently completed this bespoke VMZinc Single Lock Standing Seam wall cladding project in Lorne, Victoria.  Lorne is a township situated on the Great Ocean Road between Aireys Inlet and Apollo Bay.

VMZinc is becoming increasingly popular in modern architectural design.  Natural materials are becoming the ‘go to’ in sustainable building design.  It is suitable for external cladding applications in various architectural profiles.  If you are sourcing sustainable materials for your project, zinc is a fantastic product well worth exploring the benefits of.

VMZinc website reads:

QUARTZ-ZINC® is Natural Zinc that is treated to visually mimic the beauty of naturally-aged patina.  Recommended in situations where natural patina may not form consistently or evenly, QUARTZ-ZINC is pre-weathered and when new, offers a color similar to that of Natural Zinc’s naturally-achieved matte-grey patina.
