New Roof Project in Lara features COLORBOND® Woodland Grey®

November 28, 2017

True Blue Roofing have recently completed this new COLORBOND® roofing project in Lara, Victoria.  Lara is a suburb of the City of Greater Geelong, 18 km north-east of the Geelong CBD.

The client wanted to feature a new COLORBOND® corrugated iron roof in COLORBOND® “Woodland Grey®” along with matching quad guttering.  Woodland Grey® is found in the COLORBOND® “Classic” colour range and is described on the COLORBOND® website as follows:

Woodland Grey® is inspired by the depth of cool green forest, the canopy of eucalyptus on a rugged mountain plateau, the twisted bark and deep olive green leaves of teatree along the coast, the mossy boulders and ferns found in mountain crevices.

As the new home is nestled amongst the gumtrees on this idyllic property in Lara, it seems to be a fitting colour choice for the new roof!

When building a new home the decision of what material to put on the roof is a huge one!  In terms of longevity and classic facade appeal this client choosing to use Colorbond is a great choice!  In Australia, our buildings have to withstand a barrage of weather conditions including extreme heat and cold, rain, wind and hail.  You can rest easy when choosing COLORBOND® steel as it is tested to ensure it can withstand Australian conditions in their testing facilites located in different parts of the country… you can read more about that on the COLORBOND® website.
